About China Guan Bing
China Guan Bing is a chinese restaurant in Long Island City, New York. It is listed at 27-48 Jackson Ave, Long Island City, NY 11101, which places it among the local businesses of Long Island City that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Long Island City; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in New York are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.
Hours are published for 5 days a week. The most common schedule is 12:30โ8:30 pm. It is closed on Monday, Tuesday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. No phone number is listed for this business, so the Google Maps link on this page is the best route for directions and any contact details Google has on file.
Its Google rating stands at 3.1 out of 5 from 23 reviews, which is below average for the category; consider the recent reviews carefully before visiting.
Long Island City is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Long Island City is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Bought some delicious pork and chive dumplings after work the other day. Since there was only one worker making the food and taking orders, I did have to wait but it was a nice day and I didnโt mind. Will be going again and would recommend.

Unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations in terms of taste, portion, efficiency and price. The Guanbing I ordered was not only on the pricier side, but it also lacked flavor, with a bland and oily taste. Furthermore, the portion size was quite small, leaving me feeling unsatisfied. I also waited 20 min for it. I hope that they can address these issues to provide a better dining experience for future patrons.

Very nice service! The food came out fast and time/waiting wasnโt a problem at all. As for quality, the duck pieces that I got were large and juicy. Definitely worth coming back here again.

Excellent service. Very friendly and fast :) cheap, and delicious. We ordered their signature dishes and were not disappointed. If you are around, definitely give it a try!

It fails to meet all three criteria : taste, portion, price. Itโs pricey but you get a very blend, oily, and super small sandwich. Itโs my first time writing the review :(

Yes you have to wait a little while for the food but it's worth it. I mean you can tell the guy is working hard to deliver you a delcious meal. As far as street food goes this is up there with the best especially when you factor in price. I've had the duck over rice and the duck guan bing and the classic and okonomiyaki leng mians. Everything is super flavorful and the portions are perfectly sized. If there was ever a food truck that deserves a Michelin Star this is it!

Disappointing. My order was supposed to arrive at 6.45pm, then I wait till 7.10pm and the guy asked me to come pick up in 5 mins. I waited another 10 mins to go pick up, then when I arrived, He told me to wait another 5 mins. Got my order at 7.30pm๐ it will be so much better if they have told me the truth rather than kept me waiting. Not recommend

Incredibly slow and inefficient service. Second to order, stood there for half an hour waiting for food along with many others. Took 25 minutes for this first order to come out which was incorrect causing the lady in front to leave. Wouldโve taken a few minutes tops per dish/order if this were Chinatown. Either efficiency level greatly improves or this business wonโt last long as there will be few repeating customers.
